ATLANTA -- Anyone who buys ice cream from Atlanta-area Häagen-Dazs shops this month will also help support a local charity.

Häagen-Dazs has set a goal to raise $10,000 for Bert's Big Adventure, a charity founded by Q100's "The Bert Show" host Bert Weiss and his wife Stacey, by the end of September.

Each Dulce Split Dazzler sold by Häagen-Dazs in September will net $3 for the charity. The shops will also host a Cone Day event on Friday, Sept. 23. Every customer who donates a dollar to Bert's Big Adventure on Sept. 23 will receive a scoop of ice cream.

Bert's Big Adventure is a non-profit organization that raises money to send terminally ill children on trips to Disney World.
