DUNWOODY, Ga. -- The Dunwoody Nature Center has planned a fun weekend to help adults and kids learn more about our feathered friends.

The fun begins Friday, Feb. 15 with Owl Always Love You, an adults-only Valentine-themed evening. Monteen McCord, founder of raptor rehabilitation center HawkTalk, will discuss birds' mating rituals, breeding habits and more.

Owl Always Love You begins at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $20 for nature center members and $25 for non-members. Prices include drinks and light appetizers.

On Saturday, Feb. 16, the family-friendly events begin. The nature center will offer bird watching all day and will also host information sessions at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

A Birding Merit Badge workshop for Boy Scouts will be held Sunday, Feb. 17 from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Registration for the event is $25.
