Harbor Freight Tools opens in Dunwoody

DUNWOODY, Ga. -- The Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce held a grand opening ceremony and ribbon cutting for Georgia's newest Harbor Freight Tools on Saturday.

Dunwoody mayor Ken Wright and board chairman Bill Grant cut the ribbon in front of the store at 4776 Ashford Dunwoody Road.

Before cutting the ribbon, Mayor Wright announced he was looking forward to working with Harbor Freight Tools, knowing that they will have a great base of support from the Dunwoody community as well as other Metro Atlanta residents.

Ron Thompson, manager of the store, was on-hand to donate more than $1,000 of tools and supplies to Atlanta Habitat for Humanity in honor of the new location.

Harbor Freight Tools' opening will create jobs for 15 to 20 people.
