Sneiderman was dropping his son off at this daycare center in the busy Dunwoody Village shopping center when he was shot and killed.

Parents were shocked that someone would be shot in a daycare parking lot in the safe Dunwoody community.

Sneiderman was pronounced dead on arrival at Atlanta Medical Center.

On March 7, 2011, Neuman's wife, Ariela, filed for a separation, citing adultery and infidelity as her reasons.

Court documents showed that Neuman moved out of the family home in October 2010, one month before Sneiderman's murder.

After entering the not guilty plea, Neuman's attorney said his client was shaken by the allegations and remained committed to his children.

Court documents released in May 2011 showed that Hemy Neuman and Andrea Sneiderman took trips together and carried on a sexual affair before Rusty Sneiderman's death.

Neuman's estranged wife spoke to the court in August 2011. She said that she cooperated with police during the murder investigation and admitted that she and her husband were not living together when Sneiderman was killed.

A few days before Neuman's trial was set to begin, it was pushed back to February 13, 2012.
