Get ready for prom at Perimeter Mall

DUNWOODY, Ga. -- Find your perfect prom look at the Macy's Rock Your Prom! Fashionistas event this weekend at Perimeter Mall.

Fashion and makeup expert Nyssa Green will be at the Perimeter Mall Macy's at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 17 to help metro Atlanta promgoers get ready for one of the biggest events in their high school careers.

Shoppers will enjoy dress and makeup tips, a modeling presentation, music and sweet refreshments, not to mention a 15 percent discount on all prom purchases.

Macy's will also be accepting donations for Becca's Closet, a local charity that provides prom gowns for disadvantaged girls. Those who give a new or gently used gown will receive a special Macy's coupon.

Rock Your Prom! Fashionistas will be held in Level 1 of the Juniors Department at the Perimeter Mall Macy's.

Tim Gunn to bring his sense of style to Perimeter Mall

DUNWOODY, Ga. -- Fans of "Project Runway" and its fashion-forward host, Tim Gunn, now have a chance to work the runway in a fashion show hosted by the man himself.

On Thursday, Nov. 10, Lucky Brand representatives will be at Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody, searching for locals to participate in the "Lucky You Runway Contest." Candidates will work with sales associates at the mall's Lucky Brand store to find the perfect outfit and be photographed for consideration for the show. Men and women of all sizes will be considered.

The casting call will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The runway show itself will be on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. in the lower level of the mall's Dillard's wing.

Gunn will host the show and then speak to mall guests about the importance of style, proportion and fit.

'Renew You Boot Camp' to Begin for Two Georgia Women

ATLANTA -- Two Georgia women have been selected to have their lives transformed from the inside out.

Kim Ault and Shannon Killion will participate in the six week Renew You Boot Camp, which is run by a team of five Atlanta professionals: aesthetician Tracey Thomas, hair stylist Kristy Edmondson, personal trainer Anggie Pope, wardrobe stylist Cheri Lynn and life coach Kevin Brown.

Renew You's kickoff event will be held on the soccer field of Dunwoody Baptist Church (1445 Mount Vernon Road, Dunwoody, 30338) at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 10. If it rains, the event will be moved to Tru Serenity Salon & Spa (6035 Peachtree Road, Doraville, 30360).

The kickoff will consist of a contestant orientation, team opening statements and boot camp challenges.
