DUNWOODY, Ga. -- Run a 5K or a 10K to the sound of bagpipes this weekend.
The Tartan Trot will return to St. Luke's Presbyterian Church in Dunwoody. An anticipated 1,500 runners will take to the streets in two AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifiers.
Both races will be held Saturday, Feb. 7. A 1-mile fun run will begin at 8 a.m.; the 5K and 10K will start at 8:30 a.m. sharp.
Participants will receive long-sleeve performance T-shirts, while awards will be given to the top male and female finishers, male and female masters finishers, top three finishers in each age group, and the top male and female finishers wearing kilts.
Registration for the 5K and 10K is $35 through Feb. 6 and $40 on race day. The fun run costs $20.
Money raised by the Tartan Trot will benefit St. Luke's outreach partners, including Habitat for Humanity, Family Promise and Stop Hunger Now.
