Bargain Shoppers are gearing up for spring consignment sale season where savvy consumers can save big on kids clothing, toys and gear.
Here is a rundown of some the big ones coming up:

The enormous Kidsignments sale at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds starts on Tuesday February 12th at 9am. It's one of the largest in the Nation featuring 1400 sellers.

Keep in mind no children, babies or strollers are allowed before 2pm on the first day.
The sale ends Saturday the 16th.  The address is 2405 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville, GA.

In Marietta the All 4 Kids Consigment Sale takes place February 21st through the 23rd. It is at the Cobb County Fairgrounds at

Spruill Gallery Holiday Artists Market opens Thursday

DUNWOODY, Ga. -- More than 90 artists are scheduled to participate in this year's Holiday Artists Market at Spruill Gallery.

The market will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 with an opening night celebration.

This year's festivities include a jewelry trunk show, a family day of activities and a shopping event with extended market hours.

Retailer Von Maur opens at Perimeter Mall

DUNWOODY, Ga. -- Von Maur is opening a second Georgia store as an anchor of Perimeter Mall on Saturday, November 10 in Dunwoody.

The new location of 222,000-square-feet is expected to employee 275-325 new associates.

Von Maur is celebrating the opening with a ribbon-cutting at 9:45 a.m. by President Jim von Maur and the store's manager, Tricia Moeller. During the day, Miss USA Olivia Culpo, men's fashion line founder Daniel Dolce and Nic + Zoe merchandiser Zoe Chatfield-Taylor will make appearances, offer style tips and hang out with shoppers.

Von Maur was founded 140 years ago by C.J. von Maur, of Davenport, Iowa. Today, the retailer consists of 27 stores in 11 states. The first Georiga store is located in Alpharetta.

Eat out, raise money, help kids

ATLANTA -- You can do your part this week to curb Georgia's high school dropout rate. All you need to do is eat at one of your favorite restaurants.

On Thursday, Aug. 23, proceeds from restaurants across the state will be donated to Communities in Schools of Georgia, an organization that encourages young people to complete their education and succeed in life.

The sixth annual Dine Out for Kids event hopes to exceed last year's total of $30,000 for children in the state.

Communities in Schools, which has chapters across the country, provides mentoring and after-school services, including parent education, literacy programs and youth leadership opportunities.

Walmart layaway is back, better this year

Walmart layaway is back, better this year

ATLANTA -- The Walmart layaway program will return just in time for Christmas, the company announced Monday.

This year's layaway will have plenty of new features, including more eligible items and a $15 Walmart gift card for those who pay for their entire layaway purchase.

Layaway begins on Sept. 16. Customers who like their local Walmart stores on Facebook beginning Aug. 28 will be able to start their layaway early, on Sept. 14.

Georgia resumes annual Back-to-School tax free holiday

ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia is offering parents a tax holiday on back-to-school goods for the first time since 2009.

The state will temporarily suspend its collection of the sales tax on Aug. 10-11 for general school supplies, some clothing and computers and computer accessories.
