Eighteen men and women who live, work or play in Sandy Springs vied for the title of 2011 Honey and Honeyette of Sandy Springs. The winners were named Sunday, Sept. 18, at the Sandy Springs Festival. They are Milton Gorman, a volunteer, Benson Center, Kiwanis; and Jerri King, head of school at First Montessori School of Atlanta.

The winners are the participants who raised the most money for Heritage Sandy Springs, the festival sponsor. The 18 contestants raised nearly $2,300, which will go to support Heritage Sandy Springs programs and activities.
