New Chick-fil-A bringing 100 jobs to Dunwoody

DUNWOODY, Ga. -- Metro Atlanta's newest Chick-fil-A opens this week in Dunwoody, bringing 100 jobs to the area.

The restaurant is located just outside Perimeter Mall at the intersection of Hammond Drive and Ashford Dunwoody Road, replacing the former Macy's Goodyear Auto Service Center. It includes dual drive-thru lanes, a 121-seat dining room and a patio.

Chick-fil-A will hold its famous First 100 food giveaway in honor of the new location. First 100 gives a year's worth of free Chick-fil-A meals to the first 100 adults in line at a grand opening. The Dunwoody restaurant opens at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2, while the First 100 line opens 24 hours before that. If more than 100 people are onsite by Tuesday at 6 a.m., the First 100 spots will be determined by a drawing.

First 100 is open to Chick-fil-A customers who live in specific zip codes surrounding the new restaurant. See a list of eligible zip codes at chick-fil-a.com.

Chick-fil-A will also collect new children's books for Dunwoody's chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Restaurant guests can donate books Tuesday, Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and during normal business hours Wednesday, Sept. 2 through Friday, Sept. 4.
