DUNWOODY, Ga. -- Dunwoody police have obtained arrest warrants for a man suspected of robbery at a local CVS.

According to investigators, 45-year-old Edward Wardell Underwood entered the store at 1610 Mt. Vernon Road around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25. He allegedly pulled out a gun and stole a purse from a woman sitting at the photo counter.

Similar crimes occurred earlier that same day at stores in Sandy Springs and Gwinnett County.

Working collaboratively with officers from Gwinnett, Lilburn and Sandy Springs, Dunwoody police were able to identify Underwood as a suspect in all the cases and arrest him without incident.
