DUNWOODY, Ga. -- Dunwoody Police have arrested two men in connection with a fatal shooting at the Pointe at Perimeter Apartments near Perimeter Mall.

Investigators said 32-year-old Ivan Perez was shot shortly before 4 p.m. Dec. 26 outside Building 8. He was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital.

On Dec. 30, police arrested 30-year-old Kevin Stallworth in Jonesboro in connection with Perez's death. A Norcross man, 33-year-old Antiwan Lane, was also arrested and charged with murder for hire. Both suspects are being held in the DeKalb County Jail.

Police have determined that Perez "was not the intended target" of this apparent murder-for-hire case, according to Dunwoody Police spokesman Mike Carlson.
