DUNWOODY, Ga. -- On Saturday, Nov. 5, more than 800 volunteers will descend upon Dunwoody to spread their magic to all corners of the city.

The Clean, Fix, and Shine-Up Dunwoody event will begin at 7:30 a.m. at North Atlanta Church of Christ. From there, volunteers will go on to perform such activities as restriping city parking lots, cleaning street signs, working at local charities and picking up litter at the entrances to I-285.

In return, city officials simply ask that residents thank the volunteers when they are spotted performing their good deeds.

"The people in our area are our greatest asset and their unwavering ability to selflessly give back to the community speaks volumes," Dunwoody City Councilman Denny Shortal said. "We are touched by the commitment and support of our volunteers, as Clean, Fix, and Shine-Up Dunwoody Day brings new life to Dunwoody's parks, city infrastructure, roadways and works of charity because they go the extra mile to make a positive contribution to our community."

North Atlanta Church of Christ is located at 5676 Roberts Drive.
