You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch … The holiday-loathing star of “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas The Musical” is set to make his mark on the city as he prepares for the Atlanta debut of his touring Broadway musical, playing at the Fox Theatre from November 29-December 4. Families will have the chance to get up-close-and-personal with the misunderstood green villain himself during this special visit to Atlanta.

The appearance schedule for The Grinch is as follows.  Unless otherwise noted, The Grinch will be available for autographs, photos and more!

Saturday, October 22

  • Barnes & Noble: Book Reading and Press Conference (11 a.m.-12 p.m.)

The Grinch will entertain little ones with a reading of his story, and he’ll be available for photos after the book reading. Immediately following storytime, he will lead a press conference (for pint-sized reporters) to share his views on the holiday season and answer questions.

  • Center of Puppetry Arts (2:00-3:00 p.m.)

With word spreading of the highly-anticipated return of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” in November, The Grinch plans to make an appearance at the Center to state his case for a festive-free holiday season. He will meet fans, take photos and more!

Center for Puppetry Arts is located at 1404 Spring Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30309

  • Taste of Atlanta (3:30-5:30 p.m.)

The Grinch will take his plot to stop Christmas to the streets of Atlanta, visiting Taste of Atlanta attendees as they celebrate the festival’s 10th anniversary. Visitors should be on the lookout – he may even try to stop the show at the food festival!

Taste of Atlanta is located at the intersection of 5th and Spring Street

Sunday, October 23

  • Zoo Atlanta’s Boo at the Zoo (11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.)

The Grinch will stop by to meet fans and take photos; he’ll also see what he can do to keep the Halloween costume contest from happening!
