DUNWOODY, Ga. -- Bestselling author Lauren Weisberger will hold a talk and book signing in Dunwoody next week.

Weisberger is best known for her first novel, The Devil Wears Prada, which chronicles the misadventures of a young assistant to the tyrannical editor of a fictional fashion magazine. It was made into a Golden Globe-winning film starring Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep.

A sequel -- Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns -- was released this week.

According to a release from Book Atlanta:

Eight years have passed since Andy Sachs quit her job working for the menacing Miranda Priestly at Runway magazine. Since then, she and Emily, her former nemesis and co-assistant, have partnered and started a high-end bridal magazine called The Plunge. Andy is now madly in love and engaged to a man named Max, writing and traveling to her heart's content, and her upcoming wedding is the talk of the town. Things seem perfect until she discovers a secret letter with crushing implications that will bring her back to the darkness she barely escaped -- and back into the path of that Prada-wearing devil herself.

Weisberger will speak and sign copies of her books Wednesday, June 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Marcus Jewish Community Center, which is located at 5342 Tilly Mill Road.

Her visit is sponsored by Jezebel magazine, The Atlantan magazine, Fashion Group International and the AJC Decatur Book Festival.

The event is open to the community. Tickets are $10 for MJCCA members, $15 for non-members and $7 for students.
